WHAT I EAT ON A TYPICAL DAY


Most of the time I follow a calorie restricted diet which works together with my fitness routine. I am currently eating in a calorie deficit which allows me to lose weight effectively. When I started this journey, I wanted this to be a lifestyle and not something that I wouldn’t enjoy.  This still allows me to enjoy foods that I want.


Breakfast
Most days when I’m going to the gym, I tend to eat breakfast after I have come back as that’s is what works best for me. For breakfast I have a protein shake and a banana. To make the protein shake I use 300ml the Alpro of dark chocolate almond milk and a scoop of protein and blitz it in the nutribullet. The protein I am currently using at the moment is Sci-Mix Chocolate Protein. 




Lunch
For my lunch It can vary on what I have some days I have a pot of the Grahams Family Skyr high protein yogurt along with a sprinkle of granola. On other days I have two poached eggs with 2 slices of wholemeal toast. I find these meal options tend to keep me full for the rest of the afternoon until tea.



Tea
For tea I tend to keep what I have pretty much the same most days unless its Sunday and my mum is cooking a roast dinner. I have a chicken breast seasoned with pepper. Alongside this I have some vegetables which tend to be broccoli and sweet potato. I do sometimes add some vegetable rice alongside this if I haven’t eaten much in the day or am really hungry.




Snacks and Desserts
Throughout the day if I’m hungry I will snack on fruit or sometimes have the Graze protein bites. For desserts if I am fancying something, I will have some protein ice cream. This varies on what brand I have but my favourite is the Halo Top Birthday Cake and its only 280 calories for the whole tub.
